Job Details:

We are seeking an experience Superintendent to join our growing Construction team in SWFL! The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all field operations to ensure that self-performed and subcontracted trade work is in compliance with contract documents and the project schedule. You will also implement and enforce safety and quality control policies among workers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Ensure all work on-site is carried out in accordance with prevailing safety norms and regulations
• Read and interpret blueprints, building codes, and contract specifications to ensure project accuracy and quality
• Manage project schedules, identifying and solving problems that may delay construction
• Manage all construction materials, ensuring proper storage, usage, and waste
• Lead and manage the construction team, promoting a positive work environment and high morale

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with experience in the SWFL market a plus
3. Proven experience in managing subcontractors and ensuring the safety of the entire construction site
4. Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and building codes
5. Solid understanding of contract management and materials management
6. Excellent team leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound managerial decisions
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
10. Must possess a high level of understanding regarding construction procedures, material properties, and use, and the ability to resolve on-site issues through good judgment and expertise
