Senior Superintendent - Commercial & Institutional Renovation

Based out of Riverdale, we are a people-oriented commercial & institutional construction company in need of an additional Senior Superintendent. This is a direct hire position focusing on mixed commercial interior and renovation projects in the DC to Baltimore corridor.

We seek a personable, detail-oriented Senior Superintendent to join our team, specializing in Commercial Interiors and Renovations within the Construction industry. Experience with hospital/healthcare, aviation, or municipal projects is a plus!
The ideal candidate will have a background in managing projects in these areas valued at ~$5-10M+ and an active CQC certification.

As a Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the planning and implementation of projects related to commercial interiors and renovations
• Administering client-specific programs, such as CQC, Safety, Environmental Stewardship
• Developing full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
• Effectively communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools

Qualifications:
> AS degree in Construction Management or similar field with several years of practical experience (or a Journeyman status) in a building trade
> Five-plus years of experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or institutional general contractor engaged in general building and civil construction
> Five-plus years of experience with government contracting
> Current safety credentials to include OSHA 30 1, 1st Aid, and CPR1
> Current CQC certification issued by USACE / NAVFAC is strongly preferred
