We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be playing a pivotal role in the design, investigation, and rehabilitation of building structures. You will be responsible for conducting condition assessments, analytical studies. designing building enclosures, and providing expert engineering solutions. Responsibilities:

1. Utilize your professional engineering skills to design, investigate, and rehabilitate building structures.
2. Conduct comprehensive condition assessments to determine the structural integrity of buildings.
3. Design effective building enclosures to enhance the durability and safety of structures.
4. Collaborate with the project team to ensure all engineering solutions align with project objectives and client requirements.
5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
6. Prepare detailed engineering reports and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and team members.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and best practices to ensure our engineering solutions are innovative and effective.
8. Participate in project meetings and discussions, providing expert advice and guidance on structural engineering matters.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on the design, investigation, and rehabilitation of building structures.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) certification or EIT on the path to PE.
4. Proven experience in conducting condition assessments and designing building enclosures.
5. Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, techniques, and industry standards.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts in a clear and concise manner.
8. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
9. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently.
10. Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
