Job Details

You will assume responsibility for both Software R&D and the successful delivery of customer projects involving our software products. This role requires you to function as a senior contributor, mentor, and project leader.

  • Collaborate under the guidance of the VP of Software to formulate and implement the organization's overarching strategies and roadmap for software products.
  • Contribute to the development of our inaugural software product, a Warehouse Execution/Warehouse Control Systems (WCS/WES).
  • Offer comprehensive design and development support for an event-driven microservice architecture, utilizing the latest Open-Source Java and JavaScript frameworks for backend, integration, and UI.
  • Mentor entry and mid-level developers as well as members of the delivery team.
  • Foster a culture of technical innovation and continuous learning, staying abreast of the latest technologies, industry news, and trends.
  • Embrace the Agile Development and Testing process, taking a leadership role in the design and development of customer and R&D projects.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed to assist the Software Delivery Team in integrating systems; anticipated travel level is 10-15%.
  • Analyze organizational performance data to pinpoint areas of opportunity and facilitate adaptation.

Qualifications:
  • You have experience working on industrial Software applications.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • You are excited to play a key role to help build and grow our new Software Team.
  • You have experience working with Open-Source software frameworks and related tools.
  • You are very comfortable on the Linux command line and OS services and configurations.
