Senior Quality Control Manager

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Senior Quality Control Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic, innovative team in the cosmetics and personal care industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control in our in-house manufacturing facility, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional with a strong background in quality control and experience in the cosmetics, personal care, or similar industries.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the quality control department, ensuring all products meet or exceed company and regulatory standards.
2. Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems and procedures for in-house manufacturing.
3. Lead and manage a team of quality control professionals, providing training, guidance, and support as needed.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including FDA, Fair Packaging and Labeling, FDC, and EU Cosmetic Regulation.
5. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any potential issues or areas of non-compliance.
6. Work closely with other departments, including production, research and development, and supply chain, to ensure quality is maintained throughout all stages of the manufacturing process.
7. Handle customer complaints and product issues, ensuring a swift and satisfactory resolution.
8. Continually review and improve quality control processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
9. Prepare and present regular reports on quality control activities, findings, and improvements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering. A Master's degree or equivalent would be an advantage.
2. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a senior quality control role in the cosmetics, personal care, or similar industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, including FDA, Fair Packaging and Labeling, FDC, and EU Cosmetic Regulation.
4. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly and effectively.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
7. Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
8. Proficient in the use of quality control software and systems.
9. Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
10. A positive, proactive approach, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
