Senior PSM Engineer

A global leader specializing in inventing and producing cutting-edge technologies to tackle complex issues associated with global macrotrends like safety, security, and energy.

DUTIES:

• Spearhead the development, execution, and administration of the Process Safety Management (PSM) system.
• Manage and track metrics associated with PSM and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), such as on-time action completion, compliance action fulfillment, incident investigations, program maturity enhancement, and energy reduction.
• Collaborate with the HSE team to uphold PSM standards.
• Offer technical support to engineering, operations, and maintenance to ensure compliance with PSM elements.
• Conduct job site compliance reviews, verifying adherence to permit requirements and standards, including hot work, confined space, lock tag try, and other relevant protocols.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including US EPA 40 CFR (experience is beneficial), and relevant State Regulations for Air, Water, and Waste.
• Prepare and submit mandatory reports to Regulatory Agencies.
• Organize exposure monitoring, including sampling and analysis following accepted methods.
• Serve as an effective coach and role model for production leaders, leading PSM initiatives and facilitating Best Practice sharing among location groups and similar manufacturing sites.
• Drive the establishment of standard work for environmental processes and applicable Risk Management Programs.
• Take a leadership role in capital expense projects, providing guidance and support throughout the preparation and funding phases.
