Job Details

We are seeking an, experienced Senior Project Manager to join our progressive Construction team. This is a permanent position with a strong emphasis on the management of complex construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from initial planning through to final completion. They will have a strong background in Construction Management, and Public Construction Management at Risk. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, with the chance to shape the future of the built environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage complex construction projects from initiation to completion.
2. Develop and execute project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
3. Coordinate and supervise the work of project team members, including contractors, architects, and engineers.
4. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
5. Identify and manage project risks, ensuring that potential issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
6. Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports on project status.
7. Ensure all work complies with relevant laws, regulations, and quality standards.
8. Perform contract negotiations and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to streamline processes and enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

1. At least 7 years of proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Strong knowledge of Construction Management, CM at Risk, and Public Construction Management at Risk.
3. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
5. Strong negotiation skills, with experience managing contracts and relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with a diverse range of
stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and manage project risks.
8. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
9. Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) would be a plus.
