We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Senior Project Manager for our dynamic Construction team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Mixed Use, Project Management, and Multi Family to lead and manage various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successful project completion, budget management, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
2. Managing the planning, design, and construction of a variety of construction projects, with a focus on mixed-use and multi-family developments.
3. Developing and managing project budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
4. Leading and coordinating project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals.
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
6. Identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks.
7. Communicating effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
8. Preparing and presenting detailed reports on project status, progress, risks, and issues.
9. Making strategic decisions that balance various project constraints and align with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry, with a focus on mixed-use and multi-family projects.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (such as PMP or CMP) will be considered an asset.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and quality standards.
4. Proven experience in managing project budgets and schedules.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate diverse teams of professionals.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex project information to various stakeholders.
