Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Senior Project Manager for Data Center Ground Up Construction. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about leading and managing complex construction projects from inception to completion. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, in-depth industry knowledge, and a track record of successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the construction of data center projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
3. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
4. Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
5. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
6. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
7. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
8. Report and escalate to management as needed.
9. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
10. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
11. Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
12. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is required.
2. Proven working experience of 5+ years as a Senior Project Manager in the construction industry.
3. Experience in ground-up construction of data centers is a must.
4. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
5. Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
6. Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management.
7. Proficiency in project management software tools.
8. Competency in conflict and crisis management, delegation, and leadership.
9. Excellent time and project management skills.
10. Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
11. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
12. PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
