Senior Project Manager, Civil Construction

The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for preparing and/or coordinating the preparation of full estimates on large and complex projects as required by client’s documents and provide complete conceptual and total bid pricing.

Summary


Essential Functions

1. Review and evaluate requests for estimates.
2. Prepare cost analysis and ensure timely completion of estimates.
3. Review estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy.
4. Obtain quote for materials from subcontractors.
5. Create an estimate where predetermined standard(s) are not available.
6. Develop and maintain resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, and government requirements.
7. Promote and comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.
8. Maintain professional attitude with owners, inspectors, public and company personnel.

**MUST PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN**

Required Education and Experience
1. High School diploma or GED
2. Experience in Microsoft Office, email communications, and electronic bidding
3. Must have a valid driver’s license
4. Proficient at interpreting specifications and reading blueprints

Preferred Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in construction science/construction management.
2. Minimum of five (5) experience in construction project management or Estimating Heavy Highway
3. Minimum of two (2) years’ related experience in excavation and underground utility construction projects.
4. Experience with Estimating software and Agtek software
