Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile construction projects, where you will play a critical role in driving projects to successful completion. You will be part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and success. This role requires an individual with a strong background in construction, concrete, and structural work.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:

1. Overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of construction projects.
2. Evaluating and determining the specifications of a project to ensure they meet necessary standards.
3. Coordinating with architects, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
4. Preparing and presenting project updates to stakeholders, including clients, team members, and executives.
5. Ensuring all safety and compliance measures are met throughout the construction process.
6. Troubleshooting any project-related issues and finding effective solutions.
7. Utilizing project management software and technology to keep all project details organized and easily accessible.
8. Conducting site inspections to ensure the project is progressing as planned and meeting all quality standards.
9. Managing project resources and materials effectively to avoid wastage and delay.
10. Training and mentoring junior engineers and other team members.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in a project engineering role.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, including concrete and structural work.
4. Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
6. Proficiency in project management software and technology.
7. A solid understanding of safety and compliance regulations in the construction industry.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions.
9. The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
10. A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred, but not required.
