We are currently seeking a talented and driven Permanent Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from residential to commercial and industrial. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background and a proven track record in managing construction projects from conception to completion. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects, working closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Reviewing, coordinating, and implementing the technical activities of our construction projects.
2. Preparing and tracking RFI's, Submittals, and Change Orders.
3. Utilizing Procore for project management, including document control, scheduling, and cost management.
4. Working closely with the project team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
5. Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned.
6. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
7. Assisting in the resolution of technical issues and providing technical advice when necessary.
8. Collaborating with team members to improve processes and overall project performance.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in RFI's, Submittals, Change Orders, and Procore.
4. Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and regulations.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. A strong commitment to safety and quality.
