A bit about us:
We are a well-known machining manufacturer hiring for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team! This position reports directly to the Engineering Director and is responsible for the technical to financial aspects of our large scale equipment and system projects. A successful candidate will have 12+ years of experience managing pharmaceutical, medical device or powder systems projects and will be comfortable overseeing the work of the Junior Project Engineers.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Review and execute project scopes for pharmaceutical projects.
2. Using your expertise in mechanical and chemical engineering to design and implement solutions.
3. Utilizing AutoCAD to create detailed technical drawings and plans.
4. Managing project schedules and resources using GAANT charts.
5. Overseeing the installation and maintenance of pneumatic conveying systems.
6. Providing technical support and training to junior engineers and customers.
7. Continually researching and keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
8. Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
9. Occasionally travel to job sites.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
2. A minimum of 12 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
4. Experience with pneumatic conveying systems.
5. Proficiency in using GAANT charts for project management.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
8. The ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
9. A strong customer focus, with the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs.
10. A proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
