You would be reporting to the Site Director. The Production Manager plays a pivotal role in optimizing manufacturing operations to achieve productivity targets and ensure smooth production processes. This role involves leading a team of managers and supervisors, coordinating production activities, and liaising with various stakeholders to meet customer needs effectively.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers and supervisors responsible for production activities.
Collaborate with functional managers to understand product needs and integrate them into manufacturing plans.
Maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Implement training programs for operations, maintenance, and repair activities.
Delegate production assignments and oversee scheduling and inventory management.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure the production of custom pieces meets specifications.
Monitor productivity, progress, and quality standards throughout the production process.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and meet customer expectations.
Maintain accurate records and reports using relevant technology and data management systems.
Drive a culture of safety and accountability throughout the organization.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
Five or more years of senior management experience in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of hazmat, ISO, distribution, and safety programs.
Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Proficiency in manufacturing methods, process improvements, and quality standards.
Experience with performance evaluation, budgeting, and reporting.
Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Epicor.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
