Senior Product Development Engineer (Robotics)

SUMMARY:
As our Senior Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the lifecycle development of automated /robotic systems used for industrial applications.

MUST HAVES:

• Product development of Electrical / Mechanical Systems.
• Creating technical requirements.
• Automation/Robotics development.
• Product Management

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading the design and development of innovative robotic systems, including mechanical design, control systems, and software integration.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and product managers to bring new products from concept to production.
• Evaluating and implementing design solutions that meet functionality and cost objectives.
• Conducting feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
• Directing support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication.
• Providing technical support for product engineering, design development, and manufacturing teams.
• Ensuring all product development procedures and practices comply with regulatory and quality standards.
• Conducting regular design reviews to ensure product designs meet required specifications and standards.
• Identifying opportunities for new product development and improvements to existing products.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product development, specifically in the field of robotics, automation or industrial systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and software integration.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product design, and project management.
• Proven experience with robotic systems, including design, programming, and testing.
