Senior Power Electronic Engineer

As a Senior Power Electronic Engineer, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge power electronic systems development. Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop advanced power electronic systems, including but not limited to IGBT, converters, motor inverters, and silicon carbide.
2. Lead and participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance.
3. Perform simulation, modeling, and analysis of power electronic systems to predict and improve system performance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of power electronics into overall system design.
5. Develop and execute test plans for power electronic systems, analyzing results to identify areas for improvement and ensure product reliability.
6. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
7. Stay abreast of the latest developments in power electronics, identifying opportunities to incorporate new technologies or methodologies into our products.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve complex power electronics issues, utilizing your deep understanding of power electronic systems and components.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and development of power electronic systems, with a focus on IGBT, converters, motor inverters, and silicon carbide.
3. Strong knowledge of power electronics theory and principles, including the ability to perform complex calculations and simulations.
4. Proficiency in power electronics simulation tools and software.
5. Experience in the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex power electronics issues.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
