We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Municipal Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing various municipal engineering projects. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our community's infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about engineering, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Municipal Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Designing and overseeing the construction of municipal infrastructure projects, including water supply systems, sanitary sewer systems, and pump stations.
2. Utilizing Civil 3D to create detailed engineering designs and plans.
3. Coordinating with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and government officials, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Preparing and presenting detailed reports and presentations on project progress and outcomes.
5. Ensuring all engineering projects comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
6. Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineering staff.
7. Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure projects are progressing as planned and to identify any potential issues or improvements.
8. Managing project budgets and resources effectively.
9. Keeping up-to-date with industry advancements and applying innovative practices to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
3. A minimum of 10 years of experience in municipal engineering, with a focus on water supply systems, sanitary sewer systems, and pump stations.
4. Proficiency in Civil 3D or a similar engineering design software.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex engineering concepts clearly.
8. A strong understanding of safety regulations and environmental standards in the engineering industry.
9. Willingness to continue learning and adapting to new technologies and industry advancements.
