Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all MEP aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project specifications and standards are met.
  • Review and approve MEP designs and modifications, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and codes.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, plans, and budgets, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site inspections (downtown Washington D.C.) to monitor progress and ensure quality of work.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for General and Subcontractors, responding to inquiries and providing regular updates on project status.
  • Act as the Commissioning Agent to ensure that all systems are functioning properly and meet the required performance standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, promoting a culture of safety within the team.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on MEP in commercial construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, construction procedures, and regulations.
  • Certified Commissioning Agent or equivalent is a plus (if you are not licensed, we will sponsor your licensing after joining the team).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
