We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of innovative and complex mechanical systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in automation, product engineering, and robotics, with a particular focus on robot cells. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge technologies that will revolutionize the industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
2. Applying knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
3. Conducting product testing and validation procedures to ensure the designs meet quality and functionality standards.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish product specifications and production schedules.
5. Overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems.
6. Providing technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
7. Evaluating mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
8. Leading the design and implementation of robot cells in manufacturing environments.
9. Investigating equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations to maintenance crew.
10. Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures in all engineering activities.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting role, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or Ph.D. would be advantageous.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a particular focus on automation, product engineering, and robotic systems.
3. Proven experience in the design and implementation of robot cells.
4. Proficient in using CAD software for designing and simulating mechanical systems.
5. Excellent knowledge of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
10. Must be familiar with industry safety procedures and regulations.
