Senior Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a passion for law, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence. You will be responsible for handling all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation. You will also represent clients in court, conduct depositions, and negotiate settlements. Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, drafting pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
2. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation.
3. Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and legal theories.
4. Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
5. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in order to avoid court proceedings.
6. Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to ensure high-quality legal services.
7. Maintain knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide effective legal counsel and risk management advice to clients.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and identify potential legal issues.
9. Develop relationships with clients, providing them with trusted and effective legal advice and representation.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Licensed to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 6 years of experience in civil litigation, including trial experience.
4. Proficiency in law and motion practice.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with a keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and high professional standards.
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
10. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
11. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
