We are seeking a seasoned Associate Attorney to join our dynamic and fast-paced legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, particularly on the plaintiff side. This position requires a deep understanding of wage and hour laws, discrimination, PAGA, and class actions. If you have a passion for justice and a proven track record in complex litigation, we are eager to hear from you.

Responsibilities

As an Associate Attorney, you will be expected to:

1. Manage a portfolio of complex litigation cases, including PAGA representative actions and class actions.
2. Provide expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of employment law matters.
3. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
4. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
5. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.
7. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications

Successful candidates for the Associate Attorney position will possess:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. License to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Associate Attorney, experience handling complex litigation.
4. Proficiency in employment law, particularly on the plaintiff side, including wage and hour laws, discrimination, PAGA, and class actions.
5. Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
8. Ability to handle a high caseload and work under pressure.
9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
