Job Details:
Our manufacturing company is currently on the hunt for a seasoned IT/Software Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position, where you will be tasked with developing and maintaining our internal and external software systems. You will be a part of a team that values innovation, efficiency and creative problem-solving. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software applications and solutions in line with our business needs.
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing software (Intranet & internet)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Maintain data integrity and security in all software solutions.
• Create and maintain software documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to the development team.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems are up-to-date and secure.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of our ERP system.
• Administer and troubleshoot servers, firewalls, and other network components.
• Manage and resolve issues on our intranet and internet systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience with CSS, CSS3, servers, security, intranet, internet, ERP, sage50, data structure, software design, firewalls, Embedded Design, Embedded, troubleshooting, python, C/C++, windows, vmware.
• Well versed in IT (Networking, Firewalls, Servers, Support)
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and programming tools.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in embedded systems design and development.
