The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits, reviewing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Compensation: 95-120K + Annual Bonus + so much more!

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute financial and operational audits as per the annual audit plan.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify areas of potential financial and operational risk and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Prepare audit reports detailing the results of the audit, including any identified deficiencies and recommendations for improvement.
• Work closely with management and staff to ensure understanding of audit findings and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry practices.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the company's risk management strategy.
• Provide guidance and support to junior audit staff.
• Collaborate with external auditors as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the engineering industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and auditing software.
