Responsibilities:

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Leading the geotechnical design and analysis of complex construction projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
2. Conducting detailed geotechnical investigations and providing expert advice on soil, rock, and groundwater conditions.
3. Performing load testing, interpreting the results, and providing recommendations to improve design and construction practices.
4. Managing and mentoring a team of junior geotechnical engineers, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
5. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and structural engineers to develop integrated, cost-effective, and technically sound design solutions.
6. Preparing detailed technical reports and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in geotechnical engineering and integrating them into our practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Senior Geotechnical Engineer position, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. A Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in geotechnical software for analysis and design.
4. Proven experience in load testing and interpretation of results.
5. Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and mentoring a team of engineers.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
7. A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
9. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
