Senior Financial Analyst

Review, analyze, evaluate and interpret financial forecasts and operating results
Prepare monthly closing journal entries and adjustments to financial records; organize, analyze and complete month end financial statements
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions
Assist with all items of the month end closing process
Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls and investigate and report any inconsistencies or improprieties to the Controller
Maintain and prepare process documentation as required for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and assist with quarterly self-assessment testing
Prepare monthly reconcile general ledger accounts to sub ledgers and research any discrepancies
Assist in preparation of financial quarterly review (FQR) package
Prepare quarterly Excess and Obsolete Analysis and assist Material Review Board with inventory management


Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience
Extensive experience with ERP systems and Excel
Month-end close experience
Accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
SOX experience preferred
