Job Details


Responsibilities:
1. Capital and Expense Budget Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets for capital and expense projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Monitor and track budget performance, providing regular updates and variance analysis to stakeholders.

2. Analyze Financial Reports: Conduct detailed analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Identify trends, patterns, and potential risks, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.

3. Plant Cost Accounting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of plant costs. Analyze and review cost data, identifying areas for cost optimization and process improvement. Develop and implement cost accounting systems and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

4. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and provide insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.

5. Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with department heads to gather relevant data and assumptions. Monitor and track budget performance, providing regular updates and recommendations for corrective actions.

6. Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models to support business planning, investment analysis, and scenario analysis. Conduct sensitivity analysis and provide insights on potential outcomes and risks.

7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the finance function. Streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA qualification is a plus.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or related roles in the finance industry.
3. Strong knowledge of capital and expense budget management, financial reporting, and plant cost accounting.
4. Proficiency in analyzing complex financial reports and data, with excellent attention to detail.
5. Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data manipulation.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Knowledge of financial systems and software, such as ERP systems and financial planning tools, is preferred.
