Are you a seasoned financial professional with a passion for strategic planning, forecasting, and financial analysis? Our company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, investment analysis, and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support optimal business decision making. The role will require a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of remote and on-site work.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis of the financial team.
  • Conduct financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Review costs and perform cost benefit analysis related to projects and/or programs.
  • Perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
  • Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
  • Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate finance within an FP&A function, consulting, or investment banking.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, variance, financial analysis, and forecasting.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial software applications.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex quantitative data to senior management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies.
  • CFA/CPA or MBA is considered a plus.
