We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team in Lubbock, Texas. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in our project success by providing accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects. Your expertise in analyzing project requirements, evaluating bid documents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams will be essential in ensuring the profitability and efficiency of our ventures.
Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed analyses of project specifications and blueprints to determine accurate cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather essential information for comprehensive estimates.
Utilize industry knowledge to identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
Prepare and present detailed and competitive bid proposals to clients.
Stay abreast of market trends, materials costs, and labor rates to ensure accurate pricing.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators within the team.
Foster strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in estimating.
