The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:
Lighting control systems
Power distribution
Fire alarm design
Electrical site plans
Electrical calculations
Field investigation
Reviewing submittals
Knowledge of NEC and standard industry design practices

Our Engineering industry is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Permanent Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Lighting Control, Power Distribution, Fire Alarm Design, Electrical site plans, Electrical calculations, Revit, SKM, and eTap. As the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading our electrical engineering team, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the electrical engineering team, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Develop and design electrical systems for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
  • Prepare and review electrical site plans, electrical calculations, and lighting control designs.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams, architects, and contractors to ensure that electrical systems are integrated seamlessly with other building systems.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that electrical systems are installed and functioning correctly.
  • Provide technical support to the construction team during the construction phase of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Mentor and train junior electrical engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on Lighting Control, Power Distribution, Fire Alarm Design, Electrical site plans, Electrical calculations, Revit, SKM, and eTap.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
