Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance with national and international standards, and collaborating with other professionals to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and supervise all aspects of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
2. Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
3. Plan layouts of electric power distribution systems, design electrical systems and components, and calculate the electrical load and energy consumption of each system.
4. Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, Lumen Designer, or ETAP.
5. Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
6. Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
8. Ensure compliance with safety requirements and standards procedures.
9. Prepare and review construction documents and monitor project progress.
10. Conduct field inspections and study maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems.

Qualifications:

1. BS/MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
3. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer in the construction industry.
4. Proficient in design and calculation software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, Lumen Designer, or ETAP.
5. Familiarity with electrical systems, power, lighting, equipment sizing and layout, and construction documents.
6. In-depth knowledge of electrical design, schematic design, and design development.
7. Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards such as IBC, NEC, and NFPA.
8. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
9. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Strong attention to detail with a desire for excellence in work product.
