Our client is looking for a dynamic and innovative Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, or systems. This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from industrial and healthcare to automotive. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, and will have at least 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems in various sectors including industrial, healthcare, and automotive.
  • Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks, specifically AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
  • Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
  • Plan layout of electric power generating plants and distribution lines and stations.
  • Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
  • Conduct field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to project manage and multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in the use of test equipment and software.
  • Knowledge and understanding of complex electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex research and development projects.
  • Excellent mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in design and calculation software.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
