Senior DevOps Engineer

Leading insurance provider is looking for a Sr DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions in the insurance industry. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging operations and development, streamlining our project lifecycles, and enhancing our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and deployment of scalable, secure DevOps solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline continuous delivery pipelines.
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure for optimal performance.
• Establish and maintain robust monitoring systems for proactive issue resolution.
• Drive containerization efforts using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and enforce best practices for version control and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and practices.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies for process enhancement.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Dev team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Strong proficiency in Linux, Unix, & Windows administration.
• Expertise with cloud services and administration for clouds such as AWS, Azure (preferred), or GCP
• Experience in Terraform IaC and infra services ensuring high availability and performance.
• Experience with CI/CD and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc
• Adept in Docker containers and orchestration systems such as Docker Swarm or Kubernetes (preferred)
• Solid grasp of network architecture and security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Experience with insurance or financial services is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for creating high-quality software.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
