Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing our company's costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.




Responsibilities:

• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to manage and analyze cost data, including direct and indirect costs, overhead expenses, and inventory valuation.

• Monitor and analyze cost variances, investigate discrepancies, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

• Prepare and maintain cost reports, budgets, and forecasts to support financial planning and analysis.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and operations, to optimize cost efficiency and improve profitability.

• Conduct regular cost audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Provide timely and accurate cost analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.

Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in cost accounting and Microsoft Dynamics 365.



Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• CPA or CMA certification preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting roles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems required.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
