As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will be a key player in our manufacturing operations, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including automation, PLC, HMI, robotics, and more. This role requires a dynamic individual who can comfortably work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on quality. You will play a critical role in ensuring our manufacturing processes are running optimally and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement control systems to ensure efficient and reliable manufacturing operations.
2. Program and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, Robotics, and other automated systems.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement automation solutions.
4. Maintain and optimize the performance of existing control systems.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and hardware.
6. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, schematics, and procedures.
7. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
8. Ensure all control systems adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
9. Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in control systems and automation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with Controls, Automation, PLC, HMI, Robotics, ABB, Fanuc, CAD, AutoCAD, VFD, Servo, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Pneumatic, Keyence, Cognex, and SCADA.
4. Strong understanding of control systems design and electrical engineering principles.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
8. Proven experience with project management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
10. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
11. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
12. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when necessary.
13. Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in control systems and automation.
