Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Civil Engineer with a focus on water and wastewater systems. This role will be instrumental in our company's mission to design, develop, and implement innovative water and wastewater solutions that meet the needs of our clients and communities. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of water distribution and treatment design, wastewater pumping design, and stormwater management. This role requires the use of advanced software tools like Civil 3D for designing and modeling.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including water distribution systems, wastewater pumping, and stormwater management facilities.
2. Utilize Civil 3D to create detailed and accurate models of infrastructure designs.
3. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and drafters throughout project lifecycles.
5. Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for proposed projects.
6. Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
7. Ensure all designs and projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
9. Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any arising issues.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in civil engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater systems.
3. Proficiency in Civil 3D, grading, and other relevant engineering software.
4. Extensive knowledge of water distribution and treatment design, wastewater pumping design, and stormwater management.
5. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
8. Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal regulations and codes governing water and wastewater systems.
9. Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, including adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
