We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Buyer/Planner to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in purchasing, planning, and managing OTD KPIs. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Buyer/Planner, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Leading and executing purchasing strategies to ensure the company's supply needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
2. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices to ensure the best quality and value.
3. Analyzing market trends and applying this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
4. Coordinating with production and sales teams to forecast future material needs and plan purchases accordingly.
5. Monitoring and managing OTD KPIs to ensure on-time delivery of goods and materials.
6. Identifying potential supply chain risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
7. Evaluating supplier performance and initiating improvements or termination of contracts as needed.
8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and achieve company objectives.
9. Managing and maintaining accurate purchase records and related reports.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Senior Buyer/Planner position should have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a buyer/planner role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in managing OTD KPIs.
4. Strong knowledge of purchasing strategies and supply chain management.
5. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
7. Proficient in using purchasing and planning software.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
