We're in search of a Senior Engineering Manager with diverse technical expertise to spearhead the growth of the Transportation and Structural Practice in Florida. Offers a dynamic environment with ample opportunities for career advancement within a rapidly expanding company. The ideal candidate will possess over 15 years of experience in structural design projects for FDOT and local agencies across Florida, demonstrating proficiency in project planning, engineering design, project management, business development, team leadership, budgeting, quality management, and staff recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to engineers, EITs, and CAD staff at various experience levels.
  • Lead the design and technical direction for bridge transportation projects.
  • Coordinate with interfacing disciplines.
  • Maintain proficiency with engineering software.
  • Manage project budget, schedule, and quality, staying updated on regulation changes and agency requirements.
  • Develop proposals, scopes of work, staff-hour estimates, and work plans for engineering pursuits.
  • Travel domestically for periodic project site visits or client meetings (up to 25% of the time).

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience with FDOT Districts, Florida’s Turnpike, and CFX required; Design-Build expertise is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred) from an accredited college.
  • Professional Engineering license in Florida.
  • Familiarity with applicable regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Efficient in planning and organizing workload.
  • Committed to delivering quality work with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
