We are in search of a dynamic and highly motivated Permanent Senior Auditor with a strong background in finance to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their expertise in public auditing, government, and municipalities, as well as advisory roles. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in regulatory requirements and accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), able to manage multiple audits simultaneously, and have a firm grasp of internal controls, risk assessment, and financial analysis. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Auditor, you will be tasked with:

1. Planning, executing, and managing multiple audit projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Conducting thorough financial analyses and preparing detailed reports to present to senior management.
3. Applying your extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements to ensure all audits and financial reports are compliant.
4. Working closely with various government and municipal entities, providing advisory services and fostering strong professional relationships.
5. Assessing and improving internal controls, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective risk management strategies.
6. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior audit staff, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
7. Staying abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure our company is always ahead of the curve.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the finance industry.
2. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A CPA or CIA certification is highly desirable.
3. Proven experience in public audit, government, and municipalities, and advisory roles.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously, with excellent organizational and project management skills.
6. Strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and financial analysis.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. A team player with a proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.
9. Proficiency in using auditing software and other related computer applications.
