We are seeking a Permanent Senior Auditor to join our Environmental Services industry team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Financial Audits, Operational Audits, Compliance Audits, Policies, Procedures, Controls, Internal Control Frameworks, ad hoc, SOX testing, and SOX 404. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization is operating effectively and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and provide valuable insights to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and controls
• Develop and execute audit plans and programs to identify and assess risks and controls
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement
• Perform SOX testing and ensure compliance with SOX 404 requirements
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA, CIA, CISA, or other relevant certification preferred
• 3+ years of experience in financial, operational, and compliance auditing
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, policies, procedures, and controls
• Experience with SOX testing and compliance with SOX 404 requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
