Position Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Audit Associate to join our growing team. The Audit Associate will assist in performing financial statement audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and offering valuable insights to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits in accordance with professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct audit procedures, examining documentation, assessing internal controls, and verifying financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare workpapers, reports, and findings to support audit conclusions and recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with senior team members to discuss audit findings, identify issues, and propose solutions for enhancing client operations and financial systems.
• Participate in client meetings and communicate effectively with clients to address queries and provide explanations related to the audit process and outcomes.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting and auditing standards and regulations to ensure compliance with audit procedures.
• Actively engage in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills related to auditing practices and industry-specific regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ Years of experience in external audit with a public accounting firm.
• Pursuing or holding a CPA license is preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
