Senior Audit Associate

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and -regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the entire audit process, from planning and risk assessment to execution, reporting, and documentation.

Client Relationship Management:

• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
• Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and insights to clients in a clear and comprehensible manner.

Risk Identification and Mitigation:

• Utilize industry knowledge and a tech-savvy approach to identify potential financial risks and opportunities for clients.
• Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for mitigating risks and enhancing financial performance.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with audit teams to mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate audit findings into broader financial consulting services.

Technical Proficiency:

• Stay abreast of accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure the delivery of accurate and compliant audit services.
• Leverage technological tools and platforms to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.

Professionalism and Ethics:

• Uphold the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity throughout the audit process.

Qualifications:

• CPA certification is a PLUS!
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of audit experience within a public accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
