Are you a passionate and experienced engineer with a knack for building envelope design and forensic review? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Associate specializing in Building Enclosures to join our growing team. As an integral member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in the design, construction, and maintenance of building enclosures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse array of projects and collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building evaluations, forensic review, and building envelope design.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, evaluation, and renovation of building enclosure systems including roofs, walls, windows, and waterproofing.
• Conduct forensic investigations and architectural reviews of building enclosures.
• Develop and review construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Provide technical expertise in building science, including moisture management, thermal performance, and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure the highest quality of construction and compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Conduct field inspections and on-site performance testing to verify compliance with design specifications.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, findings, and recommendations.
• Mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in building enclosure design, forensic review, and building evaluations.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Registered Architect (RA) designation is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of building codes, standards, and building construction processes.
• Proficiency in using Revit, CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for field inspections and client meetings.
