Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Senior Accounting Manager to join our team. This position will play a pivotal role in the financial management of our rapidly growing construction company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, financial statement preparation, financial analysis, journal entries, cash flow projections, sales tax filings, and fixed assets. This role also requires proficiency in QuickBooks. If you are a seasoned accounting professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accounting Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
2. Managing all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and vendor relations.
3. Performing in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
4. Preparing and recording detailed journal entries for all business transactions.
5. Developing accurate cash flow projections to support strategic planning and decision-making.
6. Ensuring timely and accurate filing of sales tax and other regulatory filings.
7. Managing the company's fixed assets, including tracking, depreciation, and disposal.
8. Utilizing QuickBooks to manage financial data and generate reports.
9. Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
10. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in financial statement preparation, AP/AR, financial analysis, journal entries, cash flow projections, sales tax filings, and fixed assets.
4. Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting software.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
6. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism.
