Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a knack for numbers and a keen eye for detail? We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced sales industry team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, monthly reporting, and month-end and reporting for multiple entities. You will also play a key role in insurance company accounting.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing and managing the general ledger accounting functions, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
• Handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner and all receivables are collected promptly.
• Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of all accounts.
• Utilizing Sage Intacct and Quickbooks for financial management and reporting.
• Preparing monthly financial reports, providing detailed analysis and explanations of all transactions.
• Coordinating the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Managing accounting operations for multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Handling insurance company accounting, including premium and claims accounting.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant role will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the sales industry.
• Proficiency in general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliations.
• Strong experience with Sage Intacct, Quickbooks, and other accounting software.
• Proven experience in monthly reporting, month-end and year-end closing, and financial reporting for multiple entities.
• Experience in insurance company accounting.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• CPA certification is a plus.
