Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role plays a vital part in the finance department by managing various accounting tasks, including but not limited to, preparing financial statements, overseeing our auditing department, managing tax filings, and maintaining client relationships. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 3 years of experience in a CPA firm. This role will also require the candidate to develop and supervise team members. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Prepare financial statements and regulatory reporting documents.
• Analyze financial reports.
• Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting.
• Perform audit functions for both internal and external purposes.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring that all customer queries are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.
• Develop and supervise junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and procedures.
• Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention, and budget development.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a CPA firm.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
• Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
• Strong understanding of tax codes and laws.
• Proficiency in major accounting software programs, such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional leadership and management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to maintain and develop client relationships.
