We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This is a permanent position where you will play a pivotal role in managing and controlling the company's financial processes. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, working on new construction projects, and ensuring the company's financial operations are in line with legal standards. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to track the company's financial performance and forecast future trends.
2. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
3. Participate in new construction projects, providing financial insights and cost accounting expertise.
4. Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
5. Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify efficiencies, variances and opportunities for improvement.
6. Ensure compliance with financial accounting standards and best practices.
7. Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately and timely.
8. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure financial data accuracy.
9. Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to streamline financial operations and processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
3. Proven experience with financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, financial analysis, and general ledger management.
4. Experience in cost accounting, particularly in the context of new construction projects.
5. Proficiency in financial accounting software.
6. Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
10. Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
11. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
