Job Details

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks including:

1. Ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of all accounting tasks.
2. Managing all aspects of Accounts Payable and Receivable.
3. Handling payroll functions for a large team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
4. Maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.
5. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
6. Collaborating with other finance team members to drive efficiency and effectiveness in all accounting processes.
7. Assisting with tax preparation and audits.
8. Providing financial analysis and forecasting.
9. Supporting the financial decision-making process by collecting, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant role will possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of three years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the medical industry.
3. Proven experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
4. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
6. Superior problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
10. CPA certification is a plus.
