Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant develops controls necessary for the proper conduct of the business, maintains accurate records, and assist in the monitoring/maintenance of data processing to accomplish the company’s objectives.

What would your day look like here?

• Responsible for reconciliations for all general ledger accounts
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain account balances and bank statements
• Establishes procedures and maintains bank account reconciliation
• Completing end of month accounting reports as assigned, such as monthly sales and use tax returns
• Assisting in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP and within established timelines
• Manage accounting staff

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred if you have public accounting experience, but required if you do not have public accounting experience.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience doing accounting services.
4. Strong accounting skills including financial statement preparation, maintaining cash and accrual basis general ledgers
5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Sage Intacct preferred .
