Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
  • Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
  • Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
  • Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
  • Report analysis and findings to management team
  • Oversee junior accountants and accounting assistants
  • Interact with various internal departments and external agencies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all internal processes
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required, Master's degree in Accounting preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory and GAAP
  • Highly skilled in math, accounting and financial processes
  • Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information
  • High level of efficiency and accuracy
  • Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company-specific regulations related to financial and ethical matters
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • CPA certification is a plus
  • Experience with financial software and systems is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
