Job Details:
Our prestigious finance firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of financial activities including business tax return preparation, account analysis, adjusting journal entries, and preparation of financial statements. This role requires a high level of precision, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work directly with a diverse range of clientele. We are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in the finance industry, who can provide strategic insights and detailed financial reports.

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review complex business tax returns and projections.
2. Conduct thorough account analysis and make necessary adjusting journal entries.
3. Compile and analyze financial statements, ensuring they comply with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Work directly with a diverse range of clientele, providing excellent customer service and expert financial advice.
5. Prepare annual income and tax liability projections for clients.
6. Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and operations.
7. Provide leadership and guidance to junior accounting staff.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to maintain compliance and competitive edge.

Qualifications:
1. Must have a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
2. At least 5 years of experience in business tax return preparation.
3. Profound knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
4. Proven experience in account analysis and adjusting journal entries.
5. Demonstrable experience in the preparation of financial statements.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills to work directly with a diverse range of clientele.
